Horizon Flat Roof Frame

The Horizon Flat Roof Frame is a precision-engineered steel system designed for strength, flexibility, and long-term reliability. Available in multiple sizes, the Horizon range makes it easy to select the right footprint for your build.

All Horizon frames are engineered for N2 wind regions, with the Horizon 63 also available as a custom C2 wind-rated option. Beam thicknesses vary across the range to ensure optimal structural performance for each size.

Each frame features 8 heavy-duty corner brackets made from 4.5mm powder-coated black steel, delivering superior strength and load distribution. Structural beams and columns provide added integrity, while roof and floor members create a stable, long-lasting foundation.

Supplied as a ready-to-assemble steel frame kit, the Horizon Frame offers a cost-effective alternative to traditional construction. The modular design allows for easy customization, trimming to size, or expansion by connecting multiple frames.

Ideal for carports, patios, tiny homes, extensions, studios, and open-air workspaces, the Horizon Frame is designed for both permanent and relocatable builds making it a smart, flexible solution for modern outdoor spaces.

Skeleton Steel Frame – Building Permit & Engineering Certification

If your project requires a Building Permit, we can assist you in obtaining the necessary engineering certification and footing plans. To provide you with a site-specific Engineering Certificate and Footing Plan, there is a fee of $550. Below are the steps required to proceed:

1. Purchase the Frame – Complete the purchase and payment for your steel frame.
2. Provide Property Details – Share the property address and specify where on the site the frame/s will be located.
3. Architectural Drawings or Concept Plan – Provide drawings with location of windows, doors & internal walls.
4. Soil Report (if required) – For an accurate footing plan, a soil report is necessary.
• If you already have a soil report, please send it to us, and we will forward it to our engineer.
• If you need a soil report, we can arrange for our geotechnical technician to visit your site (Victoria only). Additional fees will apply based on your location. For projects outside Victoria, you will need to arrange the soil report independently.
5. Engineering Calculations – We will engage our engineer to perform the required calculations.
6. Processing Time – Please allow 1-2 weeks for the engineer to complete the documentation.
7. Documentation Issued – Once finalized, we will provide you with the following:
• Structural Documentation
• Structural Drawings
• Computations & Certification

Once you receive the documentation from us, the next step is to engage an architect (if you haven’t already) and a building surveyor to proceed with your project.
